Art and Pics

12/3/14

Hello, this is Ginny, in my art section. Art is not just paintings and drawings. Art is the way we people put ideas and creativity in our lives.  In these blog sections I will be giving out creative projects, including painting.

Here are some ideas of what you can paint about:

For Nature: Waterfalls, Sunsets, Sunrises, Flowers, Mountains, Rivers, Rainbows.

I know these the types of paintings everyone does, but those are just some examples that you can use anytime.

Art comes from within, any types of art projects are just a way to express it. I hope that my others blog posts are going to be of help.

Another great art project is doing magazine collage art. There is two ways you can do it, rolled magazine or design magazine. This is how you do it the freestyle format. I will give the level of complication, the approximate time taken, and the supplies needed:

Level: Easy

Approximate Time: 45 Minutes - 1 Hour

Supplies:
Magazine
Glue
Scissors
An Open Desk

1. Get un-used or old newspapers (be sure whoever you are getting them from are okay with it).
2. Choose a design or picture you want to do.
3. Then cut snippets of the magazine.
4. Get glue.
5. Glue the snippets of magazine to a peice of paper that is pretty thick.
6. Make sure that the magazine cutlets are in the design and format you would like.

This is how you do it the roll format. I will give the level of complication, the approximate time taken, and the supplies needed:

Level: Intermediate

Approximate Time: 1 Hour - 1 Hour And A 30 Minutes

Supplies: Magazine
Glue
Scissors
Tape
An Open Desk

1. Get the magazines and roll them up.
2. Get the tape and tape them together.
3. Get a design or picture you would like to mimic.
4. Order the rolls in that format.
